On registration of complaint, the complainant can check the status of his/her complaint by visiting the ‘Complaint’ section of UP RERA and clicking on ‘Complaint status’. It says that where the complaint is in respect of Section 12, 14, 18 and 19 and is pending before Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission or the National Consumer Redressal Commission, with the permission of such forum where the matter is pending, the complainant needs to withdraw the matter then apply for adjudication of his/her case before UP RERA.
